"Iniciativa desde mi Ventana"

Los invitamos a que se sumen al igual que nosotras a esta linda iniciativa. La idea es realizar un arco iris para poner en la ventana, después pueden traerlo a la sala así los compartimos.

Story: The Three Little Pigs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLR2pLUsl-Y (click to listen to the story)

Listen to the story. Then, think: “what happens first?”, “what happens then?”.
You can analyze the story.
You can talk about the characters: “what kind of animals are they?”,
“What noises do they make?”, “How do they move?”,
“How do they look?” “What are they feeling?”
Then, you can act out the scene you like best, or the whole story!

Soundtrack game

Choose a book you like.

Read to the story to the kids, showing the pictures. When you stop at a picture,
you can ask the kids to imagine what are all the sounds you might hear in the depicted scene.

For example, in a picture of a cow in a farmyard there are lots of things besides “moos”;
Chickens, a rusty weather-vane, boots in mud, the farm dog, the cow’s bell,
a creaking gate, birds overhead, all make a complete soundtrack.

You can practice making the sounds with the kids --indicating louder or softer,
and eventually cutting the sound off like an orchestra conductor.
You can do this with each picture.

Then you can return to the beginning of the book and read it again,
but this time the sounds happen automatically when each picture is revealed.
This results in a smooth telling of the story with a running soundtrack.

Have fun!

Creating our own story!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21qi9ZcQVto
(click to see how to create a book with a piece of A4 paper at home)

Prepare your book. Once it’s done, start creating a story
(you can use any painting technique you desire).
Tell the story to your family. Act it out all together.
You can take turns to be the actors/audience.
You can also use costumes, props and any materials you have to create the setting.

Bring your book to Drama lesson once we go back to school!

You can create as many stories as you wish.

Así trabajan los Kangaroos!!
